IPL 2025: The performance of the Mumbai Indians team in IPL 2025 has not been good so far. The team has played four matches out of which it has lost three and won one. It is believed that he has entered the team after getting approval from the BCCI medical staff at the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru.
Was injured in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy
Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was suffering from a lower back injury since the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. Due to this he could not participate in the Champions Trophy 2025. When the last update about Bumrah came on ESPNcricinfo it was told that he would not be able to play in the match against RCB on April 7. He is cautious about his recovery because after the IPL Team India has to play a five-Test series on the England tour in June where Bumrah’s presence is very important. Mumbai tried young bowlers in Bumrah’s absence
ESPN Cricinfo’s report states that Jasprit Bumrah is fit now. In his absence Mumbai Indians have tried young bowlers like Satyanarayan Raju Vignesh Puthur and Ashwini Kumar in the current season. These players also performed well. Bumrah has been playing for Mumbai Indians in the IPL since 2013 and has taken 165 IPL wickets in 133 matches so far.
Mumbai Indians will benefit from Bumrah’s arrival
Jasprit Bumrah is known for his lethal bowling and his yorker ball is unmatched. He has single-handedly won many matches for the Mumbai Indians team. Now his joining the team will benefit the Mumbai team. Mumbai has to play its next match against RCB on 7 April. After this the team will play a match against Delhi Capitals on 13 April.
