IND vs NZ: India added another golden chapter to its cricket history by winning the Champions Trophy 2025 title. The Indian cricket team defeated New Zealand by 4 wickets in the final to claim this prestigious title for the third time. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India won the title. India had first won the Champions Trophy in 2002 when they shared the trophy with Sri Lanka as joint winners. Later, under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India defeated England to win the title for the second time in 2013, and now, under Rohit Sharma’s leadership, India won the title for the third time.

In the final, New Zealand set a target of 252 runs for India, which the Indian team chased down comfortably with 6 wickets remaining. This was particularly significant for India as they equaled New Zealand’s record, which had won 10 matches in Dunedin without losing.
