IND vs NZ: The Indian cricket team performed brilliantly and won the title by defeating New Zealand in the final of the Champions Trophy 2025. With this victory, Team India captured the Champions Trophy for the third time and became the most successful team of this tournament. In the last moments of the match, Ravindra Jadeja gave India a historic victory by hitting a four and after this he shared his heart’s feelings.

India won the title after 12 years

Batting first in the final match, New Zealand scored 251 runs in 50 overs and lost seven wickets . The Indian team achieved the target in the 49th over by losing six wickets and captured the Champions Trophy after a long wait of 12 years.

“Sometimes a hero, sometimes a zero” – Jadeja’s big statement

After the match, when Ravindra Jadeja was asked why he is the one at the crease at the end of every big match, he smiled and said, “My statistics are such that sometimes I get a chance to become a hero and sometimes a zero. The pitch was not easy for new batsmen, but Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul changed the course of the match by making a great partnership in the last 10 overs. Winning the Champions Trophy is a big thing. When you do not win a big tournament for a long time, it hurts.”

A moment of pure joy for #RavindraJadeja! 🏆💙

Jadeja remained unbeaten by scoring nine runs in six balls and led the team to victory. Along with him, KL Rahul also remained unbeaten by scoring 34 runs (33 balls, 1 four, 1 six) . At the same time, captain Rohit Sharma played a brilliant innings of 76 runs , which laid the foundation for India’s victory.

Took revenge from New Zealand after 25 years

With this victory, the Indian team also took revenge from New Zealand after 25 years . In the year 2000, New Zealand defeated India in the final of the Champions Trophy (which was then called ICC Knockout). After 25 years, the same match was repeated once again, but this time India won and took revenge.

With this spectacular victory of Champions Trophy 2025, Team India once again proved its supremacy in world cricket . This became a memorable moment for Indian cricket fans, which will be remembered for years.
